Mrs. Barbara A. (Weber) Hohman, 90, of Quincy, PA, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Quincy Village.

Born February 28, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Orville E. Weber and Anne (Schultz) Williams.

Mrs. Hohman graduated from Catonsville, MD High School with the Class of 1952.

She and her husband, the late Alfred J. Hohman, were married on September 25, 1954. Mr. Hohman died on November 20, 2015.

Mrs. Hohman was a pre-k teacher at several locations for over 30 years.

She was a member of the Randallstown American Legion Post #122 Ladies Auxiliary and Quincy United Methodist Church.  She was also an active volunteer at the Carroll County Food Bank, Westminster, MD.

Mrs. Hohman was a talented seamstress, who enjoyed traveling, bowling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two children, Karen A. Herald and her husband, Ed of Waynesboro, PA, and Gary J. Hohman of Rockland, ME; two granddaughters, Kristen Szynal (Michael) and Kimberly Austin (Troy); seven step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, Emery and Fitzgerald Austin, Anne Rose, and Alfred Szynal; nine step great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mary Pat Kuntz of Fairfield, OH, Linda Bosse of Sparks, MD and Judy Smathers of Arlington, VA; her close friend Bev Wiedmann of Quincy Village; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD with Pastor Bill Herche officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Quincy Village Benevolent Care Fund, 6596 Orphanage Road, Waynesboro, PA 17268.
