Mr. Baggie Tex Christmas, 89, of Hagerstown, and formerly of New Jersey, died very early Tuesday morning, September 26, 2923, at Autumn Lake Healthcare of Arcola, Silver Spring. He was the husband of Nancy Owinnie Williams Christmas, his wife of 58 years whom he married in April,1965.
Born on June 6, 1934, in Warren County, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Grandison and Mary Van Williams Christmas. He as a proud veteran having served with the United States __________.
While living in Mont Clair and working in Newark, New Jersey, Mr. Christmas worked to keep professional properties in good working order, and to keep individual households warm and functioning keeping their boilers functioning well.
In addition to his wife, Baggie is survived by his children James Gibson and wife Vickie of Atlanta, Georgia, Janet Brown of Frederick, and Mary Christmas of Hagerstown; his grandchildren Shakinna Newby, Sean Brown, Deneja Britt, Brian Rhodes, Kayla and Kyle Jones, and Tatyinna and Xavier Owens; and six great grandchildren; as well as siblings Hervy and Kenneth Christmas, Maxine Cooper, and Geraldine Gregory; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
