Mrs. Arlene Faye (Faust) Lehman, 78, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at her home.
Born May 21, 1946 in Bunker Hill, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Esther P. (Davis) Faust.
She graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1965.
She married Richard E. Lehman on October 26, 1973 in Hagerstown, MD. Richard passed away January 17, 2009.
In her early years, she worked at the Stanley Company, Chambersburg, as a seamstress. She then worked for Lehman’s Egg Services, Greencastle for 20 years. She retired in 2003. She enjoyed going to country shows, carnivals, word searches and baking, but most of all, she loved her children and grandkids. She will be remembered as a very sweet, funny and compassionate lady who would give you the shirt off her back and her very last dollar!
She is survived by her three children: Michael Allan Lehman, Chambersburg, Tanya Rena Helfrey and her husband, Robert of Berkley Springs, WV and Tina Velez and her husband, Angel of Chambersburg; her grandchildren: Kayla Starr, Brianna Lehman, Marina Lehman, Travis Bear and Heather Baer, one brother, Richard “Dick” Faust, Chambersburg and one sister, Frances Shirley Wagaman of Chambersburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: William “Bill” Faust, John Leon Faust, Joseph Omer Faust, and Helen Mae Faust, Linda Jean Faust, Orfa Lucille Faust, Mary Ann Davis, and Harvey Faust,
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 11, 2024, at Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle, PA, with Pastor Ron Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 10th, in the funeral home.
