Mrs. Anna L. (Kline) Sites, 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Chambersburg Skilled Nursing Center.
The last of her immediate family, Anna was born June 25, 1945, in Waynesboro, PA. She was the daughter of the late Delvin and Pansy (Bloom) Kline.
She grew up in Waynesboro, graduating from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1963.
She married Carl R. Sites on September 2, 1967, at Ebenezer United Brethren Church, in Greencastle.
Anna enjoyed the simple things and life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and doing crossword puzzles. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tawnya A. Carper and her husband, Bob of Greencastle and a son, Shawn R. Sites of Carmichael, CA; one granddaughter, Cherie Nichols and her husband, David; two step-grandchildren: Sara Carper and Bobby Carper; two great-grandsons: Ben Nichols and Weston Nichols and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Kline and four brothers: Robert Kline, Richard Kline, Glen Kline and Gerald Kline.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. Greencastle, with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Browns Mill Cemetery, Kauffman Station.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the funeral home.
