Mrs. Alta Sue (Thomas) Winpigler, 74, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Thursday evening, August 8, 2024, in her home.
Born November 11, 1949 in Salem, WV, she was the daughter of the late Clavis and Sylvia (Youngs) Thomas.
She and her husband of over 56 years, Joseph Michael Winpigler, were married on November 18, 1967, in Bel Air, MD.
Mrs. Winpigler worked as a seamstress for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and being with her grand-dog and fur baby, Copper.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Melinda Winpigler-White (Jim), Michael Winpigler (Candice) and Tammy Schueler (Rob), all of Maryland; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
