Mrs. Alice D. (Mozdean) Balfour, 78, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, in her home.
Born February 6, 1946, in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Adele (Lehutsky) Mozdean.
She graduated high school in Brooklyn New York.
Her and her husband, Charles Balfour were married November 5, 1967, in Ridgewood, NY. They enjoyed 41 years of marriage together before Mr. Balfour passed away in 2009.
Mrs. Balfour worked in several customer service positions throughout the years.
She was a kind soul who would give anyone anything they needed. She really enjoyed children, not just her own, but all children. She loved spending time with her family, vacationing with her granddaughter, playing bingo and cooking.
She is survived by her three children, Jennifer Rowney and her husband Jeff of Waynesboro, Charles E. “Charlie” Balfour, II of New Hope, PA, Amy L. Minnier and her husband Tyler of Chambersburg, PA; a grand-daughter, McKenzie Rowney; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John & Walter Mozdean; and three sisters, Joanie Mozdean, Mary Ann Lyden, and Rosie McDermott.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
