Miracle on 34th Street takes Capitol Theatre stage

CHAMBERSBURG — The Capitol Theatre’s main stage will host 31 performers this holiday season as the Chambersburg Community Theatre presents Meredith Willson’s “Miracle on 34th Street — The Musical” in partnership with the venue.

The production runs Dec. 11-14, offering evening shows at 7 p.m. on Dec. 11, 12 and 13, plus matinees at 2 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 14. Audiences can expect lively choreography, captivating performances and enchanting music that retell the timeless story of Kris Kringle and Macy’s Department Store.

Based on the classic tale, the musical explores themes of family warmth and the spirit of belief, drawing crowds with its vibrant storytelling and glorious numbers. The show aims to recapture Christmas wonder for viewers of all ages.

Performers, selected for their talent and dedication, have rehearsed extensively to bring the production to life. The Chambersburg Community Theatre, a staple in local arts, collaborates with the Capitol Theatre to deliver this holiday spectacle.

Tickets are available online at cctonline.org or at the door. Prices were not immediately available.
