MERCERSBURG, Pa. — Downtown Mercersburg will welcome residents and visitors Saturday, Sept. 26, for the 47th annual Town Fest, a daylong community celebration featuring local vendors, food, live music and family activities.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is hosted by the Tuscarora Area Chamber of Commerce. Admission is free.
Town Fest will bring together businesses, artisans, community organizations and food vendors in the downtown area. Organizers said attendees can expect opportunities to shop, enjoy festival food, hear live entertainment and participate in activities designed for children.
More than 80 vendor and artisan booths are expected, offering crafts, jewelry, clothing, home décor, gourmet foods and other products and services, according to event information.
The festival’s Kids Zone will provide family-friendly activities, while live music and other entertainment are planned throughout the day.
Town Fest is designed to highlight the community’s businesses, organizations and historic downtown while giving residents and visitors an opportunity to gather.
The event will be held rain or shine. Businesses, organizations, crafters and other vendors interested in participating can find registration information through the Tuscarora Area Chamber of Commerce.
