HAGERSTOWN, Md. — The Maryland Symphony Youth Orchestra is seeking young musicians to complete its ensemble for the 2026-27 season.
Orchestra fill auditions are open through Sept. 3. The Maryland Symphony Youth Orchestra is an auditioned program that generally includes high school-aged students and runs from about September through June each year.
Applicants must submit an online application through the Maryland Symphony Orchestra’s youth orchestra auditions webpage. The orchestra encourages musicians with a passion for orchestral performance and several years of playing experience to apply.
The audition fee is $50 for applications submitted after June 30. Families experiencing financial hardship may contact the Maryland Symphony Orchestra’s education department to discuss assistance.
