CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A 26-year-old man was taken into custody Monday in connection with an alleged robbery at a fast-food restaurant in Franklin County, according to Chambersburg police.
Dante Hollenquest, of Chambersburg, is charged with felony robbery following an incident reported late Monday morning at a Wendy’s on Wayne Avenue.
Police said the alleged robbery occurred around 10:30 a.m. when Hollenquest entered the restaurant and displayed a knife while demanding money from an employee. Authorities did not confirm whether any cash or items were taken.
Officers later located and arrested Hollenquest at a nearby hotel. Surveillance footage from surrounding businesses aided in identifying the suspect, police said.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The Pennsylvania State Police assisted Chambersburg officers during the investigation and search.
Court documents indicate Hollenquest was scheduled for arraignment Monday evening. As of Tuesday morning, details regarding bail and his custody status were not immediately available.
