Dueling stages run by local musicians, Jon Ingels and Brad Munn, feature seven musical acts donating their time and talents:
- BBD Trio (retro blues variety) – 2:30-3:15
- Ethan Larsh (rock singer-songwriter) – 3:15-3:45
- Cameron Molloy & the Drivin’ Wheel (country/Americana) – 3:45-4:30
- Tresa Day & Joel Newman (classic rock/soul/jazz) – 4:45-5:15
- FATSO (father-son rock band) – 5:15-6
- Brad Munn (bluegrass) – 6-6:45
- Kin Selection & Next of Kin (chart-toppers) – 7-8
Art & more
Heidi O’Toole, local artist and owner of Creekside Studio, will lead an interactive community painting project. A musically-themed canvas will be provided, alongside acrylic paints and brushes for all ages and experience levels to make their mark. Auctions and raffles will be announced from 4:30-4:45 and again from 6:45-7. Available items include gift baskets from local businesses and one-of-a-kind art pieces, including the day’s community painting project. The Cider Shack, Gerber Burger, J&M BBW and Rough Edges Brewing will serve up food and craft beverages.
Tickets
Tickets are $15 in advance at artsalliancegw.org and $20 (cash-only) at the door. Children ages 12 and under attend for free. Attendees are asked to present IDs at the door to receive wrist bands to enter/exit throughout the day. The event is sponsored by Waynesboro Construction and F&M Trust.
This seventh edition of “Jammin’ in the Park” is one of the primary fundraising events for the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro, alongside its winter counterpart, “Jammin for the Arts.”
The Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro stages free live music to the community every Friday night at Music Makers, 46 W. Main St.; it showcases a seasonally rotating art gallery at Gallery 50, 50 W. Main St.; presents monthly arts programming such as a Bluegrass Hootenanny (rotating Sundays), Songwriter’s Workshop (first Mondays), and Songwriters and Poets Open Mic (third Mondays); and provides promotional support for music and arts programming in the community.
The year 2027 will be the nonprofit’s 15th anniversary, and funds raised will help to continue this mission.
