WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Hundreds of people attended the YMCA’s first Spooktacular on Oct. 24 for an event featuring costumes, crafts, games and seasonal activities.
A pumpkin garden, food trucks, a costume contest and miniature golf were among the attractions. The event also featured a spook house with an “Alice in Wonderland” theme.
Children participated in craft activities and a sensory game that challenged them to identify objects by touch without seeing what was beneath paper plates.
The Borough of Waynesboro Fire Department gave children an opportunity to sit inside a firetruck. Barrel train rides rounded out the activities.
