HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Hagerstown Community College will showcase the creative work of its summer arts students during an opening reception on Monday, Aug. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kepler Center.
The HCC Summer Arts Showcase will feature student work in drawing, painting and printmaking, highlighting pieces developed throughout the college’s summer session. The reception is free and open to the public, and no RSVP is required.
Organizers say the exhibit provides an opportunity for students to present their artistic progress while inviting community members to engage with the region’s growing arts scene.
Following the reception, the exhibition will remain on display from Aug. 10 through Aug. 28, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Kepler Center gallery.
The showcase reflects the college’s continued investment in visual arts education and community engagement, offering visitors a chance to experience a range of styles and techniques from emerging artists.
