GREENCASTLE, Pa- Families are invited to cast their lines and enjoy a morning of outdoor fun at the annual Kids Fishing Rodeo hosted by the Greencastle American Legion on Saturday, April 11.
Registration begins at 7 a.m., with lines hitting the water at 8 a.m. The event, open to children up to age 15, promises a friendly fishing competition complete with prizes throughout the morning. No adult fishing is permitted.
Participants can enjoy complimentary hot dogs, chips, and drinks while they fish and socialize. The rodeo will be held at the Greencastle American Legion Picnic Grounds, 4775 Williamson Road.
In the event of inclement weather, the rain date is set for April 18. Event updates and cancellation notices will be posted on the American Legion Post 373 Facebook page and the organization’s website at www.post373.com.
