Students from Greencastle-Antrim High School recently visited the Franklin County Courthouse for an educational tour designed to give them a firsthand look at local government in action.
Deputy Kaetzel of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office led the group through the courthouse, offering an inside view of daily operations and the roles that courthouse staff play in supporting the judicial system. Students observed work areas and learned about courtroom procedures, law enforcement duties and the importance of public service.
The Sheriff’s Office expressed appreciation for the opportunity to host the students, emphasizing the value of connecting young people with civic institutions to promote understanding and community engagement.
