CHAMBERSBURG – Leaders from Solomon’s United Church of Christ will join staff from the statewide nonprofit environmental group PennEnvironment to lead a tour of the church’s solar roof array for local leaders and residents on Monday, April 8, at noon.
Led by Church Pastor Julia Brown, the tour will discuss the church’s motivation for “going solar,” how they worked with GreenBrilliance to design and finance the system, give tips for other consumers who may be interested in going solar and give an update on how much they’ve saved on their energy bills.
