CHAMBERSBURG– CareerTech has announced that the Franklin County Career & Technology Center (FCCTC) Practical Nursing Program has been ranked among the top ten LPN programs in Pennsylvania. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the program’s commitment to providing high-quality education and preparing students for successful careers in practical nursing.
The FCCTC Practical Nursing Program offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience. Students gain a thorough understanding of nursing principles, procedures, and patient care, while also developing the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in the healthcare field.
The FCCTC Practical Nursing Program is a one-year program that begins in either February or August. Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN), which is required to become a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
LPNs are in high demand in today’s healthcare workforce, with job opportunities expected to grow by 9% over the next decade. As LPNs, graduates of the FCCTC Practical Nursing Program will be well-positioned to enter a rewarding and fulfilling career in nursing.
