CHAMBERSBURG – Franklin County is holding on-the-spot correctional officer interviews on Friday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. at the Franklin County Administration Building at 272 N. Second St. Chambersburg.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to pass a background check and drug test. Applicants must also be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
The starting salary for correctional officers is $45,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid vacation and sick leave.
