CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The public is invited to the 2026 Franklin County 4-H Roundup, a two-day showcase of youth livestock projects, agricultural education and community support set for Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Chambersburg Rod & Gun Club, home of the Franklin County Fair, 3725 Warm Spring Rd., Chambersburg.
The annual event will feature Franklin County 4-H members who have spent months raising and caring for their market animals. Exhibitors will take part in market shows and showmanship contests before the 2026 Franklin County 4-H Livestock Sale concludes the roundup Saturday evening.
The schedule begins Friday at 5 p.m. with the market goat show, followed by the market lamb show at about 6 p.m. On Saturday, the market beef show begins at 9 a.m., followed by the market pig show at about 10:30 a.m.
The sale office will open at 4 p.m. Saturday. A sale welcome is planned for 5:45 p.m., and the livestock sale will begin at 6 p.m.
The sale will feature champion animals first, followed by reserve champions and additional market animals in the sheep, beef, goat and swine divisions.
Food will be available for purchase on-site, and organizers say the event offers families, agricultural supporters and community members a chance to see the work of local 4-H youth while supporting their projects.
