CHAMBERSBURG – Franklin County Commissioners will take their first look at the preliminary 2025 budget during the Wednesday, Oct. 23, commission meeting.
The meeting, which also includes a public comment period, starts at 10 a.m. in Room 824 of the county Administration Building, 272 N. Second St.
The 2024 budget totals $171.2 million, and for this year, the total property tax millage rate remained unchanged at 29.1 mills, Franklin County’s eighth consecutive year without a general fund tax increase.
