CHAMBERSBURG–The Franklin County Area Tax Bureau (FCATB) seeks an Executive Director to manage and oversee the Bureau’s operations. The FCATB collects Earned Income and Local Taxes on behalf of Franklin County’s political subdivisions, including the Borough of Chambersburg.
The Executive Director position requires strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of Pennsylvania local government, and wage tax collection/distribution. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred), significant experience with Pennsylvania state and local income and services taxes, minimum 3-years supervisory and management experience and strong financial analytical skills, or equivalent combination of education and experience. AS400 experience is a plus. Must acquire Act 32 Tax Officer certification within 90-days of hire and be bondable. Salary range is $100,000 to $115,000, contingent upon qualifications.
