CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Cumberland Valley Business Alliance Travel Club is pleased to announce its newest international excursion, “British Landscapes,” scheduled for May 16–25, 2027.
An informational meeting for those interested in learning more about this 10-day journey will be held on Tuesday, May 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce. Participants will also have the option to join virtually.
The session will be led by Daniel Brooks-Wells of Collette Travel and Tours and Lexi Fretz of Antrim Premier Travel. As the trip sponsor, Fretz will share insights into the unique travel experience, which spans from the Scottish capital to the historic heart of England.
“British Landscapes” is designed to provide an authentic look at the United Kingdom. Travelers will explore Edinburgh Castle, visit the historic York Minster, and experience the walled city of Chester. The itinerary also features Conwy Castle in Wales and the charming streets of Stratford-upon-Avon, where guests can connect with the legacy of William Shakespeare.
Unique experiences include traveling like a local on a high-speed commuter train and enjoying a traditional afternoon tea. The trip is tailored for those who enjoy a moderate level of activity, featuring leisurely walking tours through historic sites and scenic landscapes.
The informational meeting is free and open to the public. For more details or to view the full itinerary online, readers may visit CVBAlliance.org/Events. For questions, they also may contact Lexi Fretz at 301-992-3945 or [email protected].
