WASHINGTON COUNTY– Washington County Government wants to ensure that no resident goes hungry by providing information on local resources available to them and their families. Multiple local food banks, pantries and community organizations are ready to provide immediate assistance to families, seniors and individuals in need.
In Franklin County and other areas, residents may dial 211 for access to food service resources.
Guidance for residents
- All food banks are open to Washington County residents in need. Please bring identification and proof of address when possible.
- Hours and eligibility requirements may vary by location; call ahead to confirm.
- Meal programs offering hot meals and grocery assistance are also available through select churches and community centers.
- Additional resources such as personal care products, clothing and household items are available through several local agencies listed in the resource directory.
- Please reach out to individual organizations if you wish to volunteer your time or donate goods.
