GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a fireworks store in Adams County Tuesday night while armed with a crossbow.
Troopers said the robbery occurred at Keystone Fireworks of Gettysburg, located along Emmitsburg Road in Freedom Township.
According to state police, the suspect attempted to access a safe inside the business but was unsuccessful. Investigators said the individual then confronted the store manager, brandishing a mini crossbow and demanding the safe be opened.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene, police said.
No injuries were reported.
