Students from the Franklin County Career and Technology Center recently showcased their skills and professionalism at the HOSA–Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference held last week in Hershey.
The CareerTech team represented their school with confidence and enthusiasm, gaining valuable experience and inspiration to compete for medals in future state competitions. Health science instructors Kelly Henry and Michelle Moore praised their students’ performance and dedication.
“We couldn’t be prouder of the professionalism and drive our students displayed,” Moore said. “They represented CareerTech and Franklin County with excellence.”
Four FCCTC students earned Penn HOSA Foundation Scholarships during the awards ceremony. Recipients were Makenzie Brinkman, Kylie Connelly, Ashlyn Hershey and Destiny Shindledecker.
The program continues to help prepare students for careers in healthcare and allied health fields. Faculty and students alike say they are already looking ahead to next year’s competition.
