Bradley’s homer lifts Waynesboro past West Perry

WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Waynesboro snapped a three-game skid on Monday evening with an 8-5 win over West Perry, powered by a solo home run from Emma Bradley and a solid outing from pitcher Sierra Brosius.

The victory moved the Maidens to 3-4 on the season and marked their most decisive performance yet. Brosius pitched a complete game, allowing only two earned runs and three unearned on eight hits across seven innings.

Bradley made her mark at the plate, going 1-for-4 with her first home run of the season, two runs, and a stolen base. Haley Reynolds stayed productive as well, reaching safely in three of four at-bats, scoring twice, and driving in a run. Abby Byers and Rylee Miller each added RBI singles to highlight a balanced offensive showing.

Despite the loss, West Perry’s lineup showed power of its own. Rylann Kelly went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Addi Lupfer matched her teammate’s production with a two-run homer and a 2-for-4 day at the plate.

The defeat dropped the Mustangs to 2-3 and extended their losing streak against Waynesboro to four games.

Both teams look to bounce back to .500 in upcoming conference matchups Wednesday. Waynesboro will host Shippensburg at 4:15 p.m., while West Perry travels to face Northern York at the same time.
