HAGERSTOWN, Pa. – The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars and Special Olympics Maryland to host the 2026 Law Enforcement Torch Run on May 21 at Meritus Park.
The community event will coincide with the Flying Boxcars’ home game against the York Revolution, with a pregame ceremony beginning at 5:45 p.m. and first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The evening aims to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics athletes while spotlighting the partnership between law enforcement and local volunteers.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the Washington County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 150, with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics Washington County.
