BOONSBORO, Md. — Boonsboro’s main street held its annual 9/11 remembrance parade on the evening of Sept. 11th, paying tribute to the tragedy on its 25th anniversary. The parade began just after 6:30 and lasted around an hour, with Boonsboro residents filling the curbs for several blocks.
The long line of parade participants included a multitude of local fire companies, dance and majorette teams and local businesses, among others. The parade followed Hagerstown’s annual Remembrance in the Park, which took place on Sept. 8.
