Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute is offering a new series of six outdoor nature programs for preschoolers in June and July. NEWVILLE- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced the northbound Interstate 81 Welcome Center, located about a mile north of the Maryland state line in Franklin County, will be closed the week of June 3-7 so the facility’s current heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system can be replaced with an energy efficient system.
