HAGERSTOWN, MD- On Saturday, June 1, the Federal Little League in Hagerstown, Maryland, hosted the local qualifying round of the 2024 T-Mobile Home Run Derby. The nationwide competition, open to Little League Baseball and Softball players aged 9 to 12, provided young athletes with an opportunity to showcase their power-hitting skills. HAGERSTOWN, MD – Monday, June 3, at 09:41 a.m., the Washington County Division of Emergency Services, along with units from various county fire and rescue agencies, were dispatched to Boonsboro High School in response to a hazardous material incident. HARRISBURG- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that a bridge replacement project is scheduled to begin next week on Route 116 in Adams County. The bridge spans a tributary to Willoughby Run just west of Willoughby Run Road in Cumberland Township near Gettysburg.  Weather permitting, on Monday, June 3, the contractor will begin installing erosion and sediment control measures at the construction site.
