Patriot Federal Credit Union recently donated $3,500 to the Franklin County Library System to help with the cost of their fundraising campaign that brought in over $80,000 for the library system and generated nearly 500 new individual and corporate donors. The Franklin County Library System provides public library services throughout Franklin County, with branches in Chambersburg (2), Greencastle, St. Thomas, Blue Ridge Summit, and two mobile libraries throughout the county. Josh Shapiro has announced nearly $7 million through the KeystoneCommunities Program (KCP) to support 49 community improvement projects in 25 counties, includingMainstreet Waynesboro. HAGERSTOWN, MD – The Washington County Division of Engineering announced Dogstreet Road will be closed to traffic from the intersection of Nicodemus Mill Road to the intersection of Michaels Court effective Monday, June 10, at 6:30 a.m., to complete the work for the culvert replacement project. Completion of the project is scheduled for September 2024. The posted detour route during the construction project will utilize Shepherdstown Pike (34) as well as King Road and Nicodemus Mill Road.
