HARRISBURG- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that lane restrictions on northbound Route 15 in Adams County are being lifted. The restrictions have been in place from Mile 5 to Mile 10 near Gettysburg for work associated with an ongoing pavement preservation project. The City of Frostburg will once again be the site of a pirate invasion on Wed., July 10 when the Children’s Literature Centre at Frostburg State University and the City of Frostburg team up to provide a free day of pirate merriment, tales, treasures and treats for young children of the region. SMITHSBURG, Md.– The Town of Smithsburg has completed a temporary water shutdown as part of ongoing improvements to the Mountain Shadows area, officials announced Tuesday. Mayor Donnie Souders said the brief interruption in service was necessary to facilitate work on the Mountain Shadows waterline loop project. Screening for movement dysfunction and/or pain allows professionals to make informed decisions about an athlete’s individual training program.
