HARRISBURG—Commuters who travel Interstate 81 from mile markers 26-32 in Cumberland County should be prepared for traffic delays. A contractor is scheduled to trim trees next week, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, on northbound and southbound I-81 from mile marker 26 to Mile Marker 32. In the event of inclement weather, this work will be performed during the same hours on Tuesday, Nov. 23. SMITHSBURG, MD—A police incident that forced Waynesboro Area schools to go on lockdown earlier this afternoon was connected to a former Baltimore County Police Officer who was wanted for kidnapping his daughters. Robert Vicosa, 42, allegedly invaded a home in York County on Tuesday and took a woman captive at gunpoint and stole her vehicle before fleeing with his daughters. Giana, 7, and Aaminah, 6. WAYNESBORO–The Rotary Club of Waynesboro celebrated its 100th Anniversary on Nov. 16 at the Waynesboro Country Club.  The club was established April 22,1920 and the celebration came after multiple delays caused by the COVID pandemic.
