WAYNE HEIGHTS–It was a great turnout recently for the Waynesboro Day Care Center playground ribbon cutting.  Close to 40 individuals including many past and present board members and other community locals of varying degrees of involvement, stood at the edge of the new macadam to celebrate a new space for the Waynesboro Day Care Center children to burn off some energy.  Founding Father Bob Brown had the honor of cutting the ribbon beside Elva Pentz the first kindergarten teacher.  Alongside them are Wendy Royer, Board President and Jasmine Cubit, Waynesboro Day Care Center Director.

Tradition stayed true this Labor Day weekend on Friday, September 2nd at the Tim Cook Memorial Course. The WASHS Varsity Boys started things off at 5:15 p.m. with Waynesboro Senior Joey Jacobs claiming the 12th place spot at 13:54..
