WAYNESBORO–A Halloween Community Service Fair will celebrate community services throughout the area. More than 50 organizations have been invited to participate Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon to 4 p.m. at Waynesboro Memorial Park. The family event will include live entertainment, food trucks, face-painting, emergency vehicle tours and free hot dogs for the first 100 people. Sponsored by St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Human Services, New Hope Shelter, and Jesus Alive Ministries.

GREENCASTLE–United Way of Franklin County and United Way of Washington County joined forces to fight food insecurities in our local community. The United Against Hunger fund was created to give greater access to free food, healthyoptions, food deliveries, food resources, and more. WAYNESBORO- The WASHS Cross Country teams finished with a 6-2 season. The WASHS Cross Country teams ran the Frank Keyser Invitational in Boonsboro, MD. All runners were able to run at the Varsity level. They were able to take Third Place for the small school division. Bella Ruefle claimed the 1st place spot in Women’s Varsity. Other finishers include Kylie Bere in 5th place for the Women’s Varsity. Medalers in Men’s Varsity included Joey Jacobs in 11th place and Noah Bockstie 12th place.

His Jim McDonough Piano Favorites will be held in the Waynesboro Area Senior High School auditorium at 3 p.m. On Sunday, October 16, 2022.
