HARRISBURG- There was a time when black bear hunting occupied a faithful, but small, niche in Pennsylvania’s hunting calendar. That’s true no more. The state’s bear hunters remain as loyal in their pursuit as ever, but there are way more of them. Pennsylvania had fewer than 130,000 bear hunters in 2003. In 2023, it had 206,124. CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – F&M Trust recently donated $2,000 to Safe Harbour, a not-for-profit organization that provides a continuum of housing services for those experiencing homelessness in Cumberland County. CHAMBERSBURG- More than $175,000 in grant money awarded this week in the 90th District will support fire companies and emergency medical services as they address building projects, purchase or repair equipment, conduct training, or reduce existing debt. Established by the Legislature, the Fire and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program is administered by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and Office of the State Fire Commissioner. All funding comes from the proceeds generated by slot machine gaming. HAGERSTOWN, MD – Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) is thrilled to announce additions to its summer flight schedule to Orlando-Sanford and St. Pete-Clearwater now three days a week as well as expanded service through November to Myrtle Beach and service in October and November to St. Pete-Clearwater.
