The league consists of 140 players in 14 teams ranging from Tball to Majors. The season will kick off Friday April 5th with all Tball teams playing at Pen Mar fields starting at 6PM. HAGERSTOWN, MD – Washington County Museum of Fine Arts announces its newest intern, Katelyn Bard from Hagerstown Community College. Bard, 20, of Clear Spring, Pennsylvania, is a visual arts major at HCC. She began her museum internship in January and will continue through May, when she graduates. She plans to transfer to Shippensburg (Pa.) University to finish her undergraduate degree and major in art education. WAYNESBORO- The Rotary Club of Waynesboro submitted the following club news: Last Meeting’s Program (4.2.24 bulletin) Heather Blount, intervention specialist (formerly reading specialist) at Hooverville Elementary School, gave a presentation on the school’s Hornet Home Connection program. She said the program is designed to engage students and their families with the school and the community at large. HARRISBURG- As part of its ongoing commitment to safety, the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) conducted its Easter holiday enforcement over the weekend and today released the results of the annual initiative. From Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31, PSP investigated 407 crashes resulting in six fatalities and 90 injuries. Intoxicated driving was a factor in 46 of those crashes, two of which were fatal.
