WAYNESBORO—The 64th Annual Waynesboro Area YMCA Good Friday service is set for Friday, April 15, in the Cookie Beck Memorial Pavilion.
This year, Rev. Lin Smalec, pastor emeritus at the Salem Church of Waynesboro, will join a long heritage of local pastors who have shared the message on Good Friday.
Members of the Waynesboro Area Fellowship of Churches along with the leadership of the Y will provide scripture readings and special music at this traditional event.
The non-denominational celebration is open to everyone beginning at 7:30 a.m. with fellowship and light refreshments following the service.
