WAYNESBORO – The American Legion of Waynesboro voted at its Auxiliary meeting to donate $1,000 to Hero’s Ridge, an Operation Second Chance facility in Sabillasville, Pennsylvania.
Hero’s Ridge is a retreat for veterans that provides a place for them to relax, heal, and reconnect with nature. The facility offers a variety of programs and activities, including fishing, hiking, camping, and counseling.
The American Legion of Waynesboro is committed to supporting veterans and their families. The donation to Hero’s Ridge is just one example of the ways in which the Legion is making a difference in the community.
