CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin County Visitors Bureau invites residents and visitors to enjoy the weekend with the latest episode of FCVB-TV. This episode features historical events, educational programs and tourism opportunities happening throughout the county.
This week’s episode invites viewers to explore the many experiences Franklin County offers, especially the 1864 Ransoming, Burning & Rebirth celebration. This event continues the community’s commemoration of the Burning of Chambersburg and the county’s Civil War history. Visitors can enjoy the area’s rich past while checking out local attractions and businesses.
The bureau also invites community members to join its Certified Tourism Ambassador program. This program is for residents who like promoting Franklin County and want to help visitors have memorable experiences by sharing their knowledge of the area.
If you’re interested in health and nutrition, the Franklin County Visitors Bureau is featuring the next Healthy Eating Adventure event, “Microbiome Magic: A Tea-Style Lunch & Learn.” Karin Lee will give a presentation, followed by a plant-based, whole-food tea party that explores how nutrition affects gut health.
