Adams County’s Aubrey Nicole takes 4th place in ‘The Voice’ with stellar performance

AROUND THE REGION – NBC’s hit reality show, “The Voice” aired its season finale last night with Adams County’s very own Aubrey Nicole vying for the top spot and a chance to win $100,000 and a record contract.

Nicole, who is a member of country music legend, Reba McIntyre’s team, had wowed audiences for weeks with her renditions of Alannah Myles 1989 tribute song to Elvis Presley, “Black Velvet” and Reba McEntire’s classic hit, “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia.”

A popular contestant among show fans, many believed the Littlestown native had a great chance of winning the competition. On the final night, in the spirit of the holiday season, Nicole performed, “Mary, did you know?” sharing the stage with her coach, Reba. It was a beautiful performance, and whether she won or lost, it was a moment that Nicole would forever cherish – getting to share the stage with a legend.

In the end, it was Aiden Ross, who was a member of Niall Haron’s team, winning the contest and taking home the grand prize. Nicole, who took fourth place in the competition, is a winner in the hearts of all Pennsylvanians, as she represented the state proudly and gave the world beautiful music and memories to cherish.

This is not the end for Miss Nicole, but rather just the beginning of her journey. She will be continuing her musical education and development as a student at the Bellmont Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business in Nashville where she will graduate in 2027. From there, the sky is the limit for this talented young lady, and it is likely we will be hearing more from her in the future.

For those wanting to see this sensational performer live, she will be at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover on Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. For details about tickets visit: Aubrey Nicole – Eichelberger Performing Arts Center.
