Notes: Saint James quarterback Jayden Yates had a huge day in the win over Wyoming Seminary College Prep, passing for 289 yards and three touchdowns and added 24 carries for 102 yards rushing and a fourth score. … The Saints have won three straight games after opening with two losses … St. James jumped out to a 14-0 lead and led 28-14 at the half. … Arvid Ryberg caught Yates’ TD pass in the second quarter and added a 26-yard field. He had three catches for 71 yards. … Marcello Anderson scored the Saints’ fifth touchdown. … Xavier Colbert recorded three quarterback sacks and finished with eight tackles, four of them recording losses. … Max Vivier added seven tackles … Yates leads the Saints with 724 yards passing and 452 yards rushing through five games. Michael Stewart – better known as one of the Hubs’ top two ball carriers – keyed the victory with a 55-yard punt return TD to break the scoreless tie before sealing the win with a goal-line interception. … North scored the final 11 points of the game to salt away the win. Ty’Qwell Fauntleroy scored on a 10-yard run and Darius Geaman added a 36-yard field goal to secure the win. … North’s defense made three big plays to turn back Central Woodstock. … The Hubs forced three turnovers. Damean Thomas and Marky McCall recovered fumbles to go with Stewart’s interception. … Central Woodstock outgained North 334-229. … Fauntleroy led the Hubs with 23 carries for 101 yards while Stewart added 75 yards rushing … The tandem has combined for 928 of North’s 1,192 rushing yards this season and have nine of the team’s 15 TDs. … Bryant Noubissie and Blake Custer led North’s defense with 14 tackles each. He scored on two 1-yard runs, two 41-yard runs and a 43-yard pass. … Davis’ two 1-yard scores gave the Rebels a 14-3 lead at the half … TJ cut the deficit to 14-10 before Davis scored his last three times. … Catoctin ran into a buzzsaw against Boonsboro. … Catoctin allowed eight TDs, six on the ground. … The Cougars have been outscored 101-40 this season, but 56 of those points came vs. Boonsboro. South has been outscored 106-56. Before last week, the Rebels had been held to single-digit outputs in each of the first three games … This is Catoctin’s third straight game against a Washington County opponent. Before Boonsboro, the Cougars lost to Williamsport.

Williamsport was a 27-10 winner over Brunswick in Week 1 and down Catoctin 27-6 in Week 3. The Warriors knocked off Brunswick 42-7 in Week 3 before taking down Catoctin last week. … The Wildcats are 4-0 for the first time since 1964. … Williamsport scored twice in the first quarter and made it stand up for the win over Northeast. … Quarterback Gabe Parker connected with David Grayton for both scores to become the Wildcats’ all-time leader in passing yards and TDs.
