FAYETTEVILLE – The Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department hosted a three-day Fall Festival at the carnival grounds behind the firehouse from Sept. 26 to 28, attracting families and locals for seasonal fun.
The event kicked off on Friday, Sept. 26, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., with food vendors, amusement rides, games and homemade apple butter drawing early crowds. Attendees enjoyed a variety of treats and activities under clear skies.
Saturday brought more excitement, as nightly bands performed live music that kept the energy high. Families participated in games, while children lined up for rides. The fire department’s volunteers managed operations smoothly, ensuring safety throughout.
On Sunday, Sept. 28, the festival concluded with final rounds of entertainment and sales of apple butter, a crowd favorite. Organizers reported strong turnout, highlighting the event’s role in fostering community spirit.
