Notes: This is the first time North Hagerstown has started a season with three straight wins since 2003. … The Hubs broke a 7-7 tie by scoring the next 31 points to turn it into a blowout. … North’s running game has been dominant this season. Against Thomas Johnson, the Hubs rushed for 379 yards. For the season, North has 1,000 yards via the run game through three games. The ground game accounts for 87% of the Hubs’ total offense … The tandem of Michael Stewart and Ty’Qwell Fauntleroy account for 752 of the rushing yards. Stewart leads the team with 36 carries for393 yards, while Fauntleroy has 359 on 45 totes. The pair has combined for eight of North’s 12 rushing TDs. Fauntleroy scored two TDs vs. TJ, while Stewart had one. … Quarterback Colt Butts has 150 yards passing in three games. … North has only three turnovers this season, while forcing five. … The defense is led by Blake Custer with 30 tackles, while Damean Thomas has 28. … The defense limited TJ to 86 yards rushing. … Central Woodstock trailed Broadway 20-13 with 3 minutes remain, but the comeback was thwarted on an interception that was returned for a TD with less than a minute to go. … The Falcons may try to match the Hubs’ running attack. The last wine was over Century in the 2024 opener. … Frederick scored 27 second-half points against South … Cadet quarterback Miles Robinson threw for 111 yards and ran for 106 and a touchdown … The Ambush brothers and their pass-catching ability has been a strong point for the Patriots. Kyrin Ambush caught his first two touchdowns of his career for all of TJ’s points in the loss to North Hagerstown. He finished with five catches for 35 yards. … Dyvae Ambush caught two long passes of 34 and 65 yards to help the Patriots move the ball. … Quarterback Randy Embrey was 15 of 29 passing for 179 yards. … One of TJ’s best drives ended when North’s Ronald Savage III intercepted a pass at the Hubs 2 … Jamere Addison had nine tackles to lead TJ’s defense, all in the first half before leaving the game with an injury. … AJ Ahmad rushed 11 times for 55 yards … Thomas Johnson is coached by former Williamsport and Smithsburg coach Vince Ahearn.

Notes: Brunswick has won the last four meetings … Smithsburg topped Berkeley Springs on the strength Luke Scott’s three touchdown passes, including two in the second half to break a 14-14 halftime tie. … Scott was 6 of 10 passing for 111 yards. … The Leopards’ other TD came on a 55-yard run by Nicolas Roncone. … Dakota Sowers, Cayden Nesbitt and Hunter Drill all caught TD passes. … Smithburg shutdown a pair of Indians’ drives with interceptions by Scott and Marquis Weakfall. … The win was a huge bounce back for Smithburg, which was held to 31 yards of offense in a 47-7 loss to Williamsport a week earlier. The seven points came when the opening kickoff was returned for a TD. … Smithsburg’s defense has one sack for the season. … Brunswick is starting anew with first-year head coach Nick Rhodes, who formally coached at Boonsboro. … Brunswick has been having trouble with pass defense, allowing eight TDs through the air in the first three games … The Railroaders labored through the game against Boonsboro. The Warriors surprised Brunswick with a 36-yard pass on the opening play, which seemed to loosen the defense for the entire game. … Brunswick managed just 83 yards unofficially in the loss to Boonsboro and 78 came on the one scoring drive. … The Railroaders have been outscored 103-38 this season. … This will be the second of three straight Washington County opponents for Brunswick. The Railroaders played Boonsboro last week and will play at Saint James in the Thursday matinee in week 5. They opened the season against Williamsport, another Washington County school.

Notes: Boonsboro has beaten Catoctin in five straight games, but it comes after losing five straight to the Cougars … It was party time for Boonsboro against Brunswick. The Warriors blew out the Railroaders’ candle on the first play of the game and then enjoyed a birthday bash for running back Jadon King. … The Warriors opened the game with a 36-yard pass play, which knock Brunswick’s defense off stride. King, who was celebrating his birthday, took it from there, scoring four of six touchdowns. … The second half was played under the running clock because of Boonsboro’s 35-point lead. … King ran the ball six times for 63 yards, but three of those carries resulted in TDs. He also caught two passes, one going for a 33-yard score. … Quarterback Blake Main was efficient, hitting on 7 of 10 passed for 144 yards and two TDs. … Parker DeBaugh and Edward Boakye also scored TDs … DeBaugh had 50 yards rushing and 65 yards receiving Brunswick was held to 91 yards of offense on just 28 plays. Boonsboro amassed 374 yards of offense … Boonsboro plays the epitome of team defense. Logan Atkinson led the Warriors with six tackles against Brunswick, while Jaden Paugh, Elijah Weddle and Mason Galloway had 5 ½ each. The Warriors have 212 team tackles in 2025 and Atkinson leads with just 25. … Catoctin was down 27-0 before scoring in the fourth quarter against Williamsport. … The Cougars lost to Thomas Johnson 18-7 in the opener before defeating Clarke County (Va.) 20-0 on Sept. 12 … Catoctin plays tight games. It has scored 33 points, while allowing 45.

Carter Cites has thrown for 549 yards this season, while the Miners have only rushed for 169. … Daniel Swindle is Mountain Ridge’s top receiver with 14 catches for 207 yards. … Levi Clise is the top defender with 26 tackles. … The Miners passed for 180 yards against Allegany, but only managed 52 yards rushing.

The Chargers defeated Stonewall Jackson (Va.) 36-0 in their opener, then lost 50-0 to Buffalo Gap before bouncing back against Tygarts Valley. Bath County has scored 89 points, while allowing 77 though.

Saint James had 300 yards rushing and 355 yards of total offense in the game. … Anderson rushed for 180 yards on 20 carries and two TDs. He has 184 yards for the entire season. … Yates had 83 yards on 11 carries and three scores. He also was 3 of 7 passing for 55 yards. … Aiden Owens led the Saints with six tackles. … SS&SA was held to 63 yards of total offense, including minus-12 rushing. … Saint James had five sacks in the game. … Wyoming Seminary College Prep is based in Kingston, Pa. … The Blue Knights fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter to William Penn and never recovered. …. Notes: Williamsport’s victory was only its second ever over Catoctin. The Wildcats has lost five in a row and 14 of 15 previous meetings. The only other win was in 2017. … Williamsport owned a 13-0 lead after one quarter on rushing touchdowns by Tae’myj Boyce-Brown and Donnell Jeffries. … Quarterback Gabe Parker inserted himself in the fourth quarter with a sneak QB and an 80-yard pass to David Grayton … Parker passed for 313 of Williamsport’s 430 yards of offense. He has 751 yards passing through the first three games, which accounts for 70% of Williamsport’s offense. … Boyce-Brown had 83 yards rushing on 12 carries. … Grayton is Williamsport’s big-play receiver with 180 yards on four catches. … Tyson Cleary topped Williamsport’s defense with 13 tackles. Cleary leads the Wildcats with 31 hits, followed by Landen McAllister with 27. … Even though it is 2-1, North East has yet to score more that 18 points in a game. They have posted 37 points overall, but allowed 57. The bulk of those points against in a 42-12 loss to St. Paul’s in the season opener.
