Mrs. Darlene Kay (Provard) Bishop, 79, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in the Gettysburg Hospital.
Born August 5, 1946 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hilda (Bumbaugh) Provard.
She and her husband of over 62 years, Wayne A. Bishop, were married on March 28, 1963, in Hagerstown, MD.
Kay worked as a CNA for over 10 years at Quincy United Methodist Home.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Waynesboro and enjoyed gardening, flowers and crafts.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by twin daughters, Lauri Hockenberry (Mike) of Shippensburg and Lori Warner of Blue Ridge Summit, PA; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Roberta Wile of Waynesboro and Linda Marlow of Seattle, WA; and several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
