CHAMBERSBURG – The Franklin County Area Development Corporation will host its 37th Annual Industry Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 11, at Green Grove Gardens, 1032 Buchanan Trail E., Greencastle.
A networking reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the dinner program at 6:30 p.m. The
event is sold out.
Each year, the organization recognizes companies that are moving Franklin County forward. At this year’s dinner, two outstanding employers will be honored as Small Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year for their economic impact, civic leadership and cultural contributions to the county’s continued prosperity.
The evening will also feature the presentation of the 31st annual Zane A. Miller Award, which celebrates an individual whose contributions have advanced economic development in Franklin County. The award pays tribute to the legacy of Zane A. Miller, a champion for local business growth and community vitality.
“This event showcases the ingenuity and grit that define Franklin County’s business community,” said the organization’s president, L. Michael Ross. “We’re proud to celebrate employers and leaders whose work creates jobs, invests in people and strengthens our region’s quality of life.”
