SHIPPENSBURG – Seth Hepler scored twice and Gage Sauserman added a milestone goal to lead the Shippensburg boys soccer team past Waynesboro, 3-2, in a Mid-Penn Conference Colonial Division matchup Tuesday.
Hepler netted a pair of goals to pace the Greyhounds’ attack, while Sauserman’s strike lifted his career total to 100 points, making him the sixth player in program history to reach the mark.
Waynesboro fought to stay in the contest with goals from Evan Drake and Michael Gearhart, but Shippensburg held its edge to secure the win.
The result marked a key divisional victory for Shippensburg and added another chapter to the competitive rivalry between the two programs.
