Jammin in the Park showcases local talent

WAYNESBORO— Main Street Park came alive Sunday afternoon as the Jammin in the Park Music & Arts Festival filled the space with live performances, local art, food and family activities.

The annual festival, organized by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro and Destination Arts, ran from 3 to 8 p.m. and featured seven area bands on two stages. Performers included Clay Band, BBD Trio, Samz@7, Jason Kauffman, FATSO, Shale Pile and Kin Selection, playing styles ranging from rock and Americana to jazz, blues and folk.

In addition to the music, attendees browsed booths stocked with handmade crafts, while children enjoyed family-friendly activities throughout the park. Food vendors, including C&G Jerk Chicken, Gerber Burger and Antietam Dairy, served festival favorites. Craft beer was also available from Rough Edges Brewing for adults 21 and older.

The event also held a 50/50 drawing to support fundraising efforts. Sponsored by Waynesboro Construction and F&M Trust, the festival’s proceeds will benefit the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro, supporting ongoing community arts projects.

Festivalgoers gathered under sunny skies to celebrate local creativity, marking another year of music, art and community spirit in downtown Waynesboro.
