Mr. Gregory T. Moser, Sr., 64, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.
Born June 24, 1961 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Harold R. and Beulah (Cline) Moser. He was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro area.
Greg graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1980.
He and his wife of over 36 years, Shirley A. (Dale) Moser, were married on August 19, 1988.
Greg worked at Antrim Auto Parts, Greencastle, PA, A&C Machine in Hagerstown, MD and Grove Manufacturing, Shady Grove, PA. He retired in 2010.
He was a member of The Owl’s Club, Waynesboro, Cascade American Legion Post 239, Sinnemahoning Sportsman’s Club and the NRA.
Greg enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, going to camp, racing machines, hunting and building motors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Gregory T. Moser, Jr. (Tina) of Everett, PA and Mandy L. Moser of Waynesboro; two step-sons, Wayne Toms (Holly) of South Carolina and Jesse Toms of Fairfield, PA; four grandchildren, Rylan Moser, Kynslee Moser, Sage Moser and Aaralynn Moser; six additional grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Angel Toms; one brother, Jeffrey “Jake” Moser; and his uncle and aunt, Thomas and Doris McCardell.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 11, 2025, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with his grandson, Wayne Toms, III officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., Sunday, in the funeral home.
