Eric D. Bell passed away on Wednesday, July 23, at Mercy House of Chambersburg after dealing with multiple health issues over the past several months. He was born October 24 , 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland, and is survived by his remaining two siblings, Cheryl Bentley and Carl Bell, who reside in Maryland. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on August 5 at Brownsville Church of God, 6390 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville, PA 17222. Eric graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1966, worked in the Federal Government for 38 years, was deployed on several Department of Defense support missions overseas that included Europe and the Middle East, and held several positions at the Chambersburg American Legion including: Post 46 Chaplin and Historian, and District 22 Chaplin and Historian.
